Speakers:
John Bouldin is a Certified as a Virginia Home Inspector, ASHI Inspector, ICC Residential Building Inspector, Certified Residential Specialist (CRI) and Graduate of the Realtors(r) Institute (GRI), John Bouldin is serving his second term on the Virginia Board for Asbestos, Lead and Home Inspectors, and has inspected over 5,000 homes. He has been a Kaplan/ITA instructor since 2003.
Harris Breit is a Master Electrician with over 50 years of experience, and an ASHI member with more then 15 years of real home inspection knowledge. He is a nationally- recognized speaker on electrical systems and real world situations.
Bryck Guibor is a custom homebuilder who also does historic renovations and remodeling. He has 30 years as a home and building inspector and has been an ASHI member since 1986. The author of a book on home inspector training, he also is an instructor for Federal Government, Bureau of Land Management, National Parks Service and Indian Nations.
Bruce Davis - Building Science Consultant Mr. Davis has over 30 years experience in applied building science, including contributing locally and nationally through hundreds of on-site commercial and residential diagnostic investigations, formal research initiatives, consulting, publications, conferences, workshops, training courses, and small group or one-on-one field training. Formerly with Advanced Energy and Crawl Space Technologies in charge of training, technical developments, marketing, consulting, presentations, building code support, and on site installation support. Initiated some of the earliest research on the impacts of duct leakage and repair and introduced the use of pressure pans as a HVAC duct system diagnostic tool. He is involved with current research on the energy and moisture performance of closed crawl spaces and research investigating the connections between buildings and health that are influencing everyday construction practice.
Approved for 16 CE or MRC credits.
